Mika is a pottery and ceramic brand. The name Mika derives from the term "Mikado" which is a title given to the emperor of Japan. Pottery and porcelain is one of the oldest Japanese crafts and art forms, dating back to 1360 during the time of the Yongle Emperor. We selected the name and built a story around this concept.
The target audience are people interested in luxury pottery and ceramic with a higher price end. Utilising a modern typography for the brand identity, its elements and choices of colours gives sense of class.
